Problem with reflections

My business idea is to to 3d scan of people's cars and then do a 3d print. I know it's not unique, but I think I can get it to work. Since i'm not extremely rich I work with what I got, meaning I rely on photogrammetry for the 3d scan which where the problem is. I tried it on my car, but the reflections are messing with the tools and I'm getting terrible scans. How can I avoid this problem?

Cool idea, reflections are a common photogrammetry issue, you can try using matte spray or powder to dull shiny surfaces

@Mau0rice is right, the mate spray will help you tone down the reflections and you can combine that with a polarizing filter. Under the right conditions you could get a good scan with not a lot of issues

That's actually some good advice and I'd be happy to test it out. Most importantly, is there some kind of paint or sprat can that can be wiped off? I'm not looking to recolor my or people's interiors.

@multidimensionalguy Yeah, look for removable matte sprays made for photogrammetry or automotive use. They usually wipe off with water or alcohol, no permanent color change.
