Lately realizing that scan processing is where a huge chunk of the work and frustration lives. Capturing the raw data is one thing, but cleaning it up, aligning multiple scans, and getting a clean mesh feels like a whole separate skill set to be honest
Right now I'm using MeshLab and CloudCompare for cleanup and alignment, but I'm open to anything that can speed up the workflow or improve mesh quality especially for scans with complex geometry or less than ideal lighting.
