Weird texture on scans

Anyone here experienced having a texture on their scans, similar to an orange peel? this was after I scanned and connected the parts together. I have an Artec Eva with artec Studio 17 software. any ideas what might be causing this, or how to fix it? All help is super appreciated

That orange peel texture often boils down to noisy data or registration hiccups. I ran into that myself trying to get a perfect scan of a car part with my scanner. Have you tried adjusting your fusion settings or experimenting with global registration cleanup in Artec Studio 17?

The software settings are one thing, but I think you'll have more luck with scanning spray for tricky surfaces.

Totally! Spraying those surfaces really helps get rid of the bumpy look, so you end up with way better scans.
