Planning my first SLS setup to scan fingernails in a 150x200x20mm area with high precision. I found a promising 4K projector option for around $1.5 and now looking into suitable cameras . My goal is 0.01mm accuracy, though I realize achieving that will likely involve significant effort and custom software development. Any suggestions or considerations for the camera side?

To achieve 0.01mm accuracy with SLS, opt for high-resolution industrial cameras equipped with telecentric lenses. Look into Basler or FLIR models, as they offer excellent synchronization features and reliable mounting systems.

Good advice from @captureconvertcreate. Try to lower your expectations a bit though, 0.01mm is doable but the lighting stability, calibration, and vibration matter just as much as the camera itself.
