I know it's not the most unique idea in the world, but I think there's some potential in my area. I'm looking to start offering interior scanning services and create virtual tours. What kind of an equipment do I need to get started?

@Unflawingjess I think that's a great idea! Virtual tours are in huge demand right now. You can actually get started with a decent DSLR camera and a wide angle lens. You'll also need a tripod and a special panoramic head.
The process involves taking a bunch of overlapping photos and then stitching them together with software like PTGui or Matterport. It's the most budget friendly way to get started, but it's a bit more time consuming and can be a pain to get a perfect result every time

Honestly, @Unflawingjess, DSLR + panoramic head is great for learning, but if you plan to scale, a Matterport or similar setup might save you headaches. Worth thinking about long term.
